Learning to drive on the city roads is one of the biggest driving skill achievements a person can reach in their life. Driving can be challenging in crowded areas parked streets it requires all around attention to drive in city.

If you licensed to drive on the roads then you are lesser dependant upon others for your daily routine. These days' driving is like a 'must' skill you must have!

Driving could be simple and less stressful when learner driver learns from the professional instructor.

Learning to drive has no age limits. You can learn to drive at any age whenever one feels they are fit to drive on the road. (Of course17+ as per laws) The most essential part of the learner drivers is to learn to be attentive in all the required areas. E.g. gear changes, braking, and turning, using mirrors, judging the traffic ahead, sometimes finding ways to reach to desired destination etc

The first necessary thing in learning to drive is your driving theory test, this need to be passed before you book your driving practical test. It is an initial part of driving test. The theory test is a computer-based test. This section is designed to test your understanding of the theory behind driving. The theory test is made up of two parts; the multiple choice part and the hazard perception part. If you pass one part and fail the other, you'll fail the whole test, and you'll need to take both parts again. You can practice DSA theory test questions, mock theory test questions online and get ready for DSA theory test.

Hazard perception is the second section of the theory test and must be passed at the same time. This section is designed to tests your awareness of potential hazards whilst driving. The hazard perception part is also delivered on a computer but you respond by clicking a button on the mouse.

The theory test requires you to view 14 hazard video clips on the computer screen of approximately one minute each. There will be 15 hazards to find - at least one on each clip. However, one clip will have 2 hazards and this test clips will not contain any sound.

There are a number of questions that will be asked in fourteen different categories. They are

  Alertness
  Attitude
  Safety and your vehicle
  Safety margins
  Hazard awareness
  Vulnerable road users
  Other types of vehicle
  Vehicle handling
  Motorway rules
  Rules of the road
  Road and traffic signs
  Documents
  Accidents
  Vehicle loading

Once you have passed the theory test you can then apply to take your driving practical test. While preparing for practical test, you should be well aware of The Highway Code and traffic rules and regulations.Learner must not also forget the knowledge gained in above 14 categories of theory test.

The main objective of driving practical test is to judge whether you are a responsible driver on the road.

Hence as a learner driver you must keep in mind - your goal is not just learning to drive, but also is to become responsible driver.

This can happen only when you actually understand the theory behind the test and use the acquired knowledge while you are is on wheels.

All the best for your driving tests.
